Hello and welcome
I'm Gill and as a person-centred counsellor, I hold the belief that we all have within us the answers we seek. However, there can be times – when struggling with either long term problems or sudden challenging life events – that it may feel hard to see a way forward.
Whilst sharing worries with friends or family may be a valuable source of support, talking therapies like counselling can offer the necessary time and space to talk things through in a more open way and at a deeper level. This will hopefully lead to a greater insight and understanding – helping you to view things differently and enabling you to let go of the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are stopping you from moving forward.
I offer a safe, relaxed and confidential space where you can explore your worries and thoughts. We will work together, at a pace that suits you – focusing on whatever you bring to the sessions in order to help you make sense of your difficulties.
