How do I book a session?
You can either fill in the information form on the contact page, or you can email me direct at [email protected]
How much is a session and how do I pay?
Initial meetings are free and for 30 minutes. Counselling sessions are £45.00 and for 50 minutes. Payment is to be made at the time of each session by either cash or bank transfer.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no fixed number of counselling sessions as we work at a pace and direction that suits you – whether that is a short-term fixed number of sessions, or more longer term.
How often should I come for counselling?
Sessions will be either weekly or fortnightly depending on what suits you, but this can be amended if your needs change.
Will the session day/time be fixed every week?
Generally your session will be on the same day and at the same time. However, if you can't make your usual appointment, as long as I have space, we can look for an alternative.
What if I'm running late for a session?
Unfortunately sessions cannot overrun, so if you arrive late, it will result in a shorter session. (Similarly, I ask that you do not arrive early for your session.)
Can I have a mix of in-person and online sessions?
Yes, you can access the sessions however works best for you.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Cancelled appointments require a minimum of 24 hours notice. If NO notice is given, the full charge will be made for the missed appointment. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
Are sessions confidential?
What you talk about during sessions is confidential, however there are certain limits to this, which we would discuss during your first session.
